kēpos was founded after Oliver's 9-year battle with Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Having tried every compound under the moon—psychosomatics that wrecked his hormones, harsh antibiotics that cost him 20 lbs in a single week, and mental health battles that lasted years—he became determined to make sure no one else had to go through what he did.
That's when he met Catalina, working in a mechanobiology lab with the same conviction.
