The inception

kēpos was founded after Oliver's 9-year battle with Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Having tried every compound under the moon (from psychosomatics that ruined his hormonal health, harsh antibiotics that lost him 20 lbs in one week, and mental health battles that persisted for years), he became impassioned to never let another person suffer as he did. At the time, he met Catalina, who was working at a mechanobiology lab. They partnered with the University of Chicago to deliver the best microbiome health that science has ever delivered, all in one scoop, and one jar.
